SEW FUN!!! Have you always wanted to learn how to sew? Do you have children 7 and over that would enjoy sewing classes? I've been sewing since I was a child and have been teaching sewing for 30 years. It's a wonderful hobby! You will learn how to make your own clothing, pillows & other decorative items for your home, doll clothes, bags/purses, and lots of other things! You will look twice before you purchase a high priced, cheaply made article of clothing after you know how to put it together and be amazed at how much less it costs to make it yourself! Children LOVE to make things and sewing is a skill they will never forget how to do once they acquire it. Sewing is NOT difficult.
QUALIFICATIONS: None except a desire to learn and you must have your own sewing machine.
LESSONS: There are SIX, 2 hour lessons per session - once per week. Lessons are one on one...you will have my undivided attention for two hours a week. I will leave you with "practice" work so you can be ready for the next lesson.
COST: $250.00. Payment will be due at first lesson.
I will provide you with a list of items you will need to purchase in addition to having a sewing machine in your home. I teach at your home so you can have all you need in one place and won't have to carry your sewing machine/items. This is the best and easiest way to learn.
I also have SEW FUN parties for children. They are a lot of fun!!
Also, I can teach at a school as an after school extracirricular activity. Minumum of four children for a class.
